Installation

The Isthmus tools are designed to work with the Demeter SystemC++. Therefore this installation guide assumes that the reader already has Demeter installed and running on their desired platform. If this is not the case, then that must be installed first, and the reader should reference the Demeter Users Guide for information on how to install Demeter.

The installation of Isthmus is straight-forward. It simply requires retrieving a copy of the necessary files from the distribution directory and setting up the environment appropriately. It does require access to a UNIX workstation with XX MB of free disk space.

Now, the reader must only follow these steps to install Isthmus.
